What Voc Hotline does
A focused assistant for Washington State vocational rehabilitation work — grounded in the rules, not the open internet.
Not HIPAA compliant. voc-hotline.org is not designed for client-identifying or health information. Do not include client PII in your questions; use de-identified scenarios only.
Cited, source-grounded answers
Every response is retrieved from WAC 296-19A and official L&I vocational services guidelines and resources, with citations you can follow back to the source.
Counselor-friendly language
Ask in everyday terms. A synonym and abbreviation layer bridges how counselors talk and how the rules are written, so you find the right guideline.
Saved history
Keep your past conversations so you can pick up where you left off and revisit prior guidance.
Shareable conversations
Create a read-only link to a conversation to share guidance with a colleague — no account required to view.
Answers that improve over time
When a response doesn't hit the mark, give it a thumbs down. We review that feedback and use it to refine how Voc Hotline answers similar questions.
Early participant appreciation
As a thank-you for helping us test and refine the product, beta participants may be offered discounts when Voc Hotline launches more broadly.
Privacy-aware (not HIPAA compliant)
voc-hotline.org is not HIPAA compliant. Built-in detection prompts you to redact personal information before a message is sent, but you must not enter client PII or PHI — ask de-identified questions only.
